Maple Syrup

Each spring we make maple syrup on the farm, and we always look forward to it. Our operation has grown a little over the years, slowly. Last year we bought an evaporator that can make a gallon of syrup a day - so we went from putting out 10 taps, to 80 last spring. It's still a small operation with just the two of us, collecting all the sap by hand and boiling it down. We make enough to have a few gallons for ourselves and a few gallons to sell and share with friends.

In spring 2013 we hope to have our first Maple syrup for sale from the farm, by Farm gate sales only, for now.

You can read posts about making maple syrup on the blog, here.
